About Me

I recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Psychology. I love expanding my horizons and meeting new people. I'm patient, fair, and easy to get along with!

I had the great pleasure of visiting Japan in 2012 on an annual study abroad trip. During this trip, students from China, Korea, Japan, and the United States traveled to Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the anniversaries of the atomic bombings of those cities. This trip changed the way I look at the world and my own culture. It changed the course of my life. I knew that I wanted to make Japan an integral part of my life.

I love to laugh and share ideas with other people! I'm very open to other points of view and I don't get offended easily.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main goal at this point, is to travel throughout Japan in search of work. I also want to explore the world, challenge my cultural values, and meet new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy reading about history and psychology. I listen to pretty much everything, but I mostly enjoy indie rock. Listening to music and riding my bicycle is one of my favorite things to do. A few artists I've really been enjoying lately include: Brand New, the Strokes, Interpol, Chet Faker, and much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to the annual Peace Ceremonies in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the anniversaries of the atomic bombings of those cities.
