Overview
About Me
I am self-employed designing and building custom machinery, most of it relates to small-scale organic farming and food processing, which connects me with great people, great food, and a feeling of purpose. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, and spending time with friends who run nature connection programs.
I live in Sackville, New Brunswick, and often travel to the Annapolis Valley. If you're looking for information for traveling to the East Coast, please feel free to reach out and I'll do what I can!
You can find me as Community Machinery on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, as well as Daniel Haartman on Facebook and Instagram
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From my own tenuous years of living between places, I'd like to support and meet people who are traveling
Also, as I'm getting more specialized in my work and my interests, it seems like the perfect time to travel. Staying with others who have a sense of place and want to build a global community is one of the best parts of traveling.
