About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently I strive to work hard and enjoy the small time that I've given while enjoying my existence!
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a teacher in South Korea with enough spare time to learn the language, and engross myself in the fabulous culture!
I've traveled around the United States, and I love doing new and exciting things. Meeting new people as well as having new experiences fills me with joy and I try to share my joy with others
PHILOSOPHY
Everyday could be the best day of your life or the worst. Terrible things happen that you can't control. You need to pick yourself up and push onward! Conversely amazing things also happen, but you can't always know what is in store for your everyday. It's a reason to wake up in the morning!
I believe that life is far too short and that we should make the most of it!
Even if we don't personally agree with someone we should listen to them and try to view the world from their perspective. They might understand the world in a different way that we haven't thought about before.
Partaking in new adventures is worthwhile and it will allow you to grow as a person!
Travel often, eat delicious food, and enjoy the company of others!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd love to host someone in the future! Unfortunately right now I live with a host family and I'm not able to impose upon them, but in the future when I move away from Korea or find my own residence here I'd love to host people.
I love people and have several adventures couch surfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't done a ton of couch surfing in the past, but I've enjoyed crashing at strangers houses on several occasions and had some great talks with people.
Nothing too crazy, but sleeping at places and waking up in the morning with
Interests
Learning!
By far the most interesting thing that we can partake in. I feel that if I had to stop learning it would be worse than death. When you stop learning you cease to grow and reach your true potential as a human being and that to me seems like a crime!
Travel, Photography, Books, Music, Exercising, Video Games, Studying Science and Language, DDR, Politics, Religion, People, and Talking, I love talking about just about anything as long as people consider what they're talking about to be interesting!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: (just to list a few)
Batman Series (Nolan)
Inception
Skyfall
Garden State
Big Fish
Lord of War
A Scanner Darkly
21 Jump Street
Music:
Alternative Rock, Rock, Rap, Jazz, Soul, Classical, and pretty much anything that's not country...
I listen to anything from Beethoven to Johnny Cash to Coldplay to Shinedown.
Random side bar: I think I've memorized the song by Cher with the lyrics, "Do you believe in love after love after love..." because my mom used to listen to it for 2 years while she was cleaning and it was blasted throughout the house.
Books:
Oh what a fantastic category, books are amazing, but I've only really fallen in love with them in the past 2 years. During high school I saw them as an obstacle that I had to hurdle over before being able to successfully complete classes but now I see them as a fantastic academic escape, as well as a relaxing journey into rich description upon every ink filled page.. (Ebooks are okay, but there's something special about the tangible medium of a book)
My favorite authors include:
Ray Bradbury, Issac Asimov, Orson Scott Card, and Phillip K. Dick. I'm a fan of a lot of science fiction books, but I also enjoy books such as:
Catch 22, Alice in Wonderful, Frankenstein, Siddhartha, Uncle Tom's Cabin, and The Hound of the Baskervilles.
I love reading, and there are always lots of good books to engross myself within!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee Jumping from the highest point in Korea was pretty awesome!
I've also been to the Pinnacles in the desert of western Australia.
Teach, Learn, Share
Mom upside down is WoW. It makes sense if you think about it!
In all seriousness, I've seen this in the past and hopefully it may help you in the future.
If you want to exchange money in an airport they sometimes have different exchange rates. For example if you want to obtain the countries currency it's best to try and do so at a departure terminal because most people are trying to get rid of their foreign currency, and if you want to exchange for other countries currencies you'll want to do so at an arrival terminal if possible!
I hope someone finds this helpful!
