Overview
About Me
I am currently a student of Linguistics in Leipzig, Germany. This includes weird or less weird phenomenons, sounds and structures of all languages that there are. Before, I was a volunteer in Romania, explored a new part of Europe and what it means to stand on my own feet. It was a wonderful time to get in touch with people, Romanians and others and see the amazing places this country can offer. I am still stunned by the landscapes, cities and events that I got to know there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is all about stories.
Stories you hear before going to a place which make you feel excited, nervous, curious.
Stories you collect on your way, about weird, beautiful or simply happy moments.
Stories that people share with you at different places, what their life is about, what worries them, what motivates them, what connects them to their home, what they dream of.
Couchsurfing is for me a way to add more chapters to all these impressions, to get in touch with people and listen to their advice, experience, voices where others maybe just see another photo scenery.
And the same goes the other way round! It is a big pleasure for me to share my thoughts and knowledge about the place I am living with others who are interested in it and want to see more than just a facade.
Now as a volunteer, later as a student, a lack of money is omnipresent, so this is also a point.
Interests
Surprisingly: Travelling. Languages. Exploring that what for some might be an everyday thing is for others the most beautiful one. Discovering different perspectives. Having a good time with a book or some music on my own. Laughing. Sharing this laughter with others. Listening to their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Show me your music and I might appreciate it, I do not really have clear preferences, if you listen to the right thing with the right people around you at the right moment, anything can be great.
MOVIES: Same here, there is nothing wrong about a weird and trashy horror movie, nor do I say no to a good arthouse one, it has to be a good atmosphere for both, though ;)
BOOKS: Thrillers, especially Scandinavian ones
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going for one year to Romania for an European Voluntary Service!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can contribute some volunteer-style Romanian, German (almost) without any dialect and wonderful germanized English. I would like to listen to some nice languages coming out of your mouth in exchange. I know about the place where I am living and ready to come up with some random facts, also without being asked. Your impressions and thoughts on the things you see are also very interesting for me ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Strange impromptu recipes for emergency situations with few ingredients. Willingness to laugh a lot. My stories and experiences. An unheard perspective on the place where we meet.
