Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love the chance to meet people from all over the world. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to get in touch with the local culture and meet some amazing people!

On the flipside, I'd love to be able to show people around the home I know and love! Western Australia is a rough diamond - a lot of people don't make it to the west, but I think it has a lot of the best Australia has to offer!

Music: just about everything. I've got a thing for the 60s and 70s. Jimmy Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepellin, anything in between. And the 80s and 90s. The first generalisation was probably accurate.

Movies:
I like a movie that leaves you thinking, but I'm not too fussy.
Some favourites: The Grand Budapest Hotel (!!!!), Synechdoche NY, The Prestige, Memento, Inception (...any Christopher Nolan film), Birdman, No Country for Old Men, The Usual Suspects, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, The Lion King

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many fun travel stories to list! One of the most surreal and memorable experiences was visiting a long abandoned theme park in Nara, Japan, at 4am in the dark. Without any lights anywhere near the park, we had to take photos to see what was around us! Add to that the thick mist and birds flying past you out of nowhere, and it was a creepy but amazing experience!! So exciting!
