Overview
About Me
I am a phd. student of Brno university of technology, faculty of civil engineering. I study construction design and FEM modeling / analysis.
I have quite big family: 21 cousins + 2 siblings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
to meet interesting people around, to know a different countries in Europe (or further) and to get know their culture and habits.
Interests
hiking - any beautiful hike / walk in the nature - forest / mountains
cycling - I just love the transport by bike as well
geocaching - while hiking or cycling, sometimes I stop to write me down there.
swimming - no matter if in a pool or in the sea
snorkelling - if swimming in the sea, I love to collect some sea shells
board games - I occasionally (recently every second week) visit with my friends some pubs in Brno, where they have a good beer and plenty of boardgames you can borrow to play there
philately - I collect postage stamps (topic nature science) and have a lot of penfriends who I change stamps by mail, but recently there is not that much time for this.
piano - well, I do not play it well, just for fun I have memorized a few christmass songs

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
nothing special, just hiked some Slovak hike-trails, only a few mountains,
jumped into the river after sauning in Finland,
and took a very short bath in the Northern Ocean.

I could teach some from Slovak, Czech.
I know German a bit and very little Finish.
I would like to learn at least a little about every country I visit. Some from language, history, national foods, habits, costumes,...
