Overview
About Me
I'm 22 years old, born in Hawaii and grew up in Michigan. I'm a water child and an Aquarius. I'm an aspiring musician. I've been playing guitar for 5 years and singing my whole life. I dabble with the bass and the drums as well. People consider me to be at least halfway intelligent, but I catch myself being a dodo all the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a born traveler. I love meeting new people, seeing new places, and having awesome experiences. There's nothing more daunting and empowering the conquering the road. But being a student, and not a professional makes traveling a little hard on the pocket book. Besides, I'd much rather take the chance to make new friends then see a bunch of different tacky motel wallpaper.
Interests
I love music, I love the outdoors, I love people, and I love the search for enlightenment. I used to skate board and play all kinds of sports and I know my way around an Xbox controller. I'm also a very hard worker and have found the work I love doing the most is that, that brings a sense of accomplishment.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Beatles were my birth into good music and John Lennon is one of my biggest influences. From there the list is endless. I love Nirvana all the way to Bach, Simon & Garfunkel all the way to Lynard Skynard. My dislikes are most metal, rap, and country. I said most, which means I still hear some of each that I really enjoy. I don't discriminate unless I feel it's just too mindless. (Oh and Nahko Bear, check him out if you've never heard of MFTP)
Some of my favorite books are A Million Little Pieces, The LOTR trilogy, On The Road, Ishmael, Nowhere Man, The Toa of Pooh. But there's so many I haven't read yet who can really say.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 9 years old my twin brother and I saved another 9 yo boy at summer camp from drowning. The counselors had no idea till we got him to shore.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've studied theology and music for most of my adult life. I love conversing and sharing new ideas. No idea is a bad one if you have words to share it with.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My music, my mind, and maybe a six pack of some craft beer.
