CURRENT MISSION
Wandering spirit seeking my next adventure!
ABOUT ME
Irish sustainability graduate trying to figure out how to live life in a more conscious way. After a year spent in the big bad world of advertising I packed up my bags and went to a Swedish island in the middle of the Baltic Sea to learn about sustainability and eco-living. Since graduating in June 2018 I've travelling around Georgia, Armenia, Turkey and Portugal.
Entering the Not-for-profit/NGO space slowly but surely now that I've returned to my hometown of Dublin.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I find the best way to learn about a new place is through chatting with the locals. Also similar to hitch hiking, it restores my faith in humanity that you can have a nice experience without the exchange of money.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had one couchsurfing experience and it was amazing back in Eindhoven in the Netherlands! My situation has meant that I haven't been able to host but would love to in the future!
Interests
Culture vulture! A new exhibition or small spoken word pop up... I'm there! I also try and follow a plant based diet but do make compromises in places with limited veggie options or if it's a cultural exchange.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my passion. I have an extremely varied music taste from really chilled electronic stuff to big party anthems like Rhythm is a Dancer. On other days it might be alternative rock, buddist chanting or sound of nature. Always looking to expand my music knowledge and can chat forever about concerts and festivals that I've been to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in a Buddhist temple in Thailand.
- The experience really deepened my meditative practice and opened up my spiritual side.
- Having grown up in a Roman Catholic setting I had a very narrow version of spirituality, especially organised religion. However I have been opened up to exploring spirituality in a more personal way, without aligning to any dogma with reverence, as I have travelled.
