About Me
Hey, I am Daniel! A short text about me, which should describe me as best as possible? Well, here it goes!
I'm 25, from Leipzig and study Cultural Engineering. "Something with media" was too familiar to me, so I decided to take an even more unspecific course of studies. It has all kinds of things to offer, arouses my interest in numerous subject areas and leaves me enough room for my work as a journalist.
I like to spend a lot of time with people who arouse my curiosity, don't shy away from the question of the "big picture" and haven't lost their inner child despite their adult status.
At the same time, I can be alone to discover and nurture my own enthusiasm for new things. I listen and dance to the hardest techno, but can also relax wonderfully to Vivaldi's 4 Seasons. I like to hole up at home and read my books on all kinds of topics, at the same time get out on the asphalt of the streets on my racing bike and ride my 40 kilometers every day.
I like having meaningful conversations as much as I like silly karaoke nights. Visiting small festivals where I find people for whom it is also important to be part of a tolerant, thoughtful and understanding community that excludes no one. I value conversations about the biggest volcanoes of our planet, failed startups or a more sustainable social and value system. Or about what interests you and opens a new horizon for me. I can't wait to find out what it is and look forward meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's the best way to meet new people, who can tell you something about their live, experiences and interests. Traveling is nice when you get to know new places and cities, but it is incomplete if besides the country the people remain foreign to you.
