Hi everyone, I'm an Australian traveler and musician, roaming around at the moment trying to see the world for what it is, good or bad, and increase the nuances of my conceptions about life I suppose. I'm always looking to make new friends and hear about other people's thoughts and ideas, or just have a good laugh.

I studied sociology back home, but I mainly work as a musician. I'm usually travelling with some kind of instrument, at the moment an old Bulgarian guitar, and if the opportunity ever comes up I'm always keen for a jam!

I'm a really relaxed guy, always open for a drink or a hangout, and just excited to get a real insight into someone else's life.

I'm on Couchsurfing because the values behind it seem to draw in the most interesting, open, and kind-hearted people around, and the more I can absorb myself in a community like that the better. I'm a hippie at heart (and from time to time in look), and I guess I was feeling a little disheartened about the lack of kindness I saw and felt in people around me. Not just kindness, but a lack of openness or willingness to connect with strangers I suppose. The more I connected with people from Couchsurfing or related groups though, the friendlier the world seemed.

I'm always looking to meet new people, no matter who they are or how they present themselves, and hear something new. I also just really want to help people out at heart and where I can, and while I don't often have much money, if there's anything I can help out with then I'm a very happy man - whether it's an extra hand, or just to listen and be a friend. I want to be a friend.

I'm a musician, and music is my main hobby. Besides that though, I love hiking, kayaking, camping, and the outdoors. I also like philosophy, and I'm always open for an interesting discussion. I can also be a bit of a film buff and I'm a big sci-fi fan.

I'm always happy to give some music lessons, or anything about audio production. I bring my field mic with me wherever I go so we could always make some recordings and have some fun!

At the moment I'm trying to learn more about synthesized sound, acoustic physics and circuit design, but I'm always on the lookout for any kind of learning. I love practical skills, especially anything outdoors or survival related, so if you've got anything to share there I'd totally eat it up.
