About Me

Well,

Im an open minded, optimistic Canadian. I moved back to Toronto a few years ago after being away for about 15 years. I'm currently living north west of Toronto, in a small town called Eugenia.

Quick synopsis of my last few years: I recently graduated from an Architecture program in Toronto. Before then I was in Ireland for about a decade where I took a 2 year course in Permaculture and Practical Sustainability in the south of the country. From there I opened a small Organic Garden Centre with my partner at the time, raising thousands of lil baby herbs and edible plants. I had been working as a carpenter and have been getting creative at some of the Irish festivals in the summers.... (great fun).

But beyond what Im actually doing with my life at the moment, I find it hard to express what I am like as a person.... I love people, good food, music, and poetry in motion. I am interested in Architecture, building, woodworking, good design and mechanics. And I also love arts and culture and the differences in our world.

They say a good way to get to know someone fast is to get to know the people who they associate with.... Luckily for me, I am surrounded by really nice, hard working and talented friends in my community. I am proud of them and happy to share the good vibes if anyone reading this ends up coming this way. I always like meeting good people and going on spontaneous adventures. If I'm free I'm sure we can set something fun up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been told couch surfing is a great way to meet people and experience the world on the road.

On the other end, I hosted wwoofers for 5 years in Ireland, and had a great time meeting new people with different backgrounds and I really enjoyed showing them around. I love hosting, and having some new energy around is usually a breath a fresh air.

Interests

I have loads of interests... Design, Science, Arts, People, Culture...

Music is a big one for me,
Architecture, Woodworking and Engineering are all up there.
Rock climbing and more outdoor activities...
Chess..

List is long, so your welcome to meet me and find out for yourselves.
