Overview
About Me
I think there's not right way to live life. The people who are most interesting and most alive are those who have learned to step into other's worlds and appreciate how they see the world.
I just graduated from college and am headed to medical school next year so the next 8 years or so of my life are planned out. I hope to make those eight years unconventional and to see a world outside of medicine also.
My goal by the end of life is to not have been put in any box.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People are the most interesting things, better than any book or movie or sport or game. If I knew how, I'd just go around collecting people's stories. I'm on Couchsurfing to meet people and to exchange lives and stories, if only for a few days. Also, having somebody who can introduce me to their home locality is better than any tour guide. And I'll take a welcoming couch and a late conversation over a neatly made bed any day.
Interests
I'm perpetually curious. I'm studying medicine for my career but I loved taking world literature, history, social dance, evolution, and psychology in college.
I'm always interested in new books to read, new foods to eat, good conversations over drinks (coffee & others), and anything that will make my brain a little bigger and my soul a little older.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode a bike down the mountain trail they call Death Road (El Camino de la Muerte) in La Paz, Bolivia. If you like mountains, if you like being in nature, if you like that feeling of being alive, this was one of the best things in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to play the guitar and piano. I can speak English fluently, Chinese well, and Spanish barely. I love to learn how to do anything new and am more than happy to share what I know.
