I grew up in sunny Singapore and this is my first time in the States. I'm here on an exchange programme at Emory University's Law School (in Atlanta, GA) and am in the midst of planning (and executing) a solo roadtrip/car-tent trip from Atlanta to Toronto (passing through NY and DC amongst other cities), before flying to Cuba and Mexico (Mexico City and Cancun). Upon returning to Toronto, I plan to kick off an awesome (hopefully) Route-66 roadtrip from Chicago to San Diego.

So as far as it goes - I really love travelling and exploring the world. Aside from learning about different cultures and interacting with people from all around the world, I am also keen to touch the lives of those around me - I have went on community service trips to Kenya and Nepal to impart business skills and financial literacy to the less-privileged.

Some fun facts about me: I love adventure sports (scuba diving etc) and cars and bikes! I've also served in the military (as most males in Singapore would have done) - part of it included jumping out of a fully functional aircraft with nothing but a parachute on my back! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Aside from the fact that I'm a broke college student on a shoe-string budget, I'm also really keen on meeting new people throughout my journeys. There is so much one can learn by talking to and interacting with others, and there is no better way to accomplish this than through CS!
