About Me

I'm Daniel from Costa Rica. (I'm currently living there)
I was studying in a Korean University in Daejeon as a Exchange Student. My Korean is not the best but at least I understand a lot of things.
I'm studying Electronics Engineering and am in my 4th year.
I love to draw, either watercolor, sketching, digital, anything.
I love to do volunteering. I've done activities like cleaning streets, helping and going to an orphanage and nursing home, helping as a staff in some art festivals, doing some workshops in disadvantaged places, etc etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I like to meet new people.
Most people don't know where Costa Rica is or how it is and the fact that I'm from a tiny country gives me more motivation to tell them how my country is and at the same time share stories and culture.

Interests

Art. Korean Culture. Technology. Hiking.
FOOD (for me food is everything EVERYTHING, seriously)
Hula Hooping. Swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love house music, R&B, electronic, and Korean Hip Hop
My favorite movie is INCEPTION, the best one. I love sci-fi and fantasy movies
I've read some fantasy books like I'm number four, Divergent, Ender's Game, and others, but unfortunately I don't read books really often (I should do it )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not really sure but I would say that coming to Korea has been the most amazing thing I've done
I've done some extreme sports but I don't think they're sooo amazing

Teach, Learn, Share

Some people say that I'm a good teacher and I think I'm not that bad. I always try my best to help people and if that means I have to teach someone I'll help them as much as I can.
The only experience that I've had teaching was in Busan, in a Language Exchange Cafe. I was teaching English to Koreans. It wasn't like teaching like a professor it was more chatting and keeping a conversation with Koreans.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of crazy stories, laughs, if you want a drawing I could do it :D.
If I feel really comfortable with someone I talk A LOT, it won't be boring, 100% sure.
