ABOUT US

Stefanie and I are both elementary school teachers, and we met in elementary school. We have been together since high school. Since we became elementary school teachers we have used it as a way to travel around the world as international teachers.

Originally we were born and raised in Kansas but have since lived in bush Alaska, Myanmar, and now Spain for teaching. We love to travel and have unique experiences. In our free time we enjoy playing board games, hiking, and playing with our newest companions, our dogs.

About our dogs

Bunny: She is a rescue beagle. She came from a laboratory where they test drugs for human consumption on animals. At the start of Covid, the lab was going to be shut down and Bunny was going to be euthanized. They said that she wouldn't make a good pet, but they were wrong. She was born in 2019 and she has learned to love life outside of the lab. She is probably the smallest beagle you will meet at 15 lbs.

Raikou: Is a sheltie. We got him from a breeder as a companion for us and Bunny. He was born in 2022. They have quickly become best friends and we are so thankful for this. He is a little shy, but as he gets older we know he will get braver. He is expected to about 12 lbs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have used couch surfing to meet up with people and stay with people. We are interested in hosting as well.

兴趣

We love trying new foods, seeking out the next adrenaline rush, experiencing different cultures, finding the beauty in the natural world, and making new friends and memories. We love to learn!

We are teachers so we can educate you in traditional academics :P Otherwise Daniel knows how to play lots of games. Stefanie knows baking, dancing, singing, art, playing ukulele and scrapbooking/video.

We can make great tasting healthy recipes.
