Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first discovered Couchsurfing when I was planning my trip to India. In retroperspective the country and it's people opened up for me in a beautiful way. I'm still overwhelmed by the hospitality and I'm still hoping to give it back and host somebody in the near future, wherever I am.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm really bad in remembering names of movies or musicians. One reason why I love TV-Series is that I have enough time to memorize character names. The last book I read was "The Following Story" from the Dutch author Cees Nooteboom.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once bungee-jumped from 160 m (500 ft) in Nepal, but it still freaks me out to look down from my 2nd floor balcony.
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's be honest with this. I cannot really share a useful talent. I can´t even make an apfelstrudel as you might expect from a good German. Once an old lady told me I could really type quickly on a keyboard. And I make incredibly good Instagram stories: I have 180 followers, so you could obviously think of me as an influencer (@waitingforabreakthrough). Also, I play the hand-flute and I could give you some tips on how to avoid plastic or how to make diy deodorant. Otherwise, my friends actually do say I´m quite fun to talk with - so that might work out.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Worst case scenario - I´ll make you an omelette for breakfast.
