I'm Cuban American; my parents immigrated to the United States in the 1960s. I live in one of the few private historic homes in Miami Beach, which is a fabulous city. However, I have to leave for the summer, it’s too hot. I typically go to Spain and Ibiza each summer. But this summer I also want to visit Bali and Thailand.

I run my own corporate law firm in Miami. I also design men’s blazers for my company Casa de Novelas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to this, but I'm a very social person and think it will be a interesting way to meet people in new cities. I have to be in Tuscany for a few weeks to oversee production of my men's Blazer line. Looking to meet interesting people while there. Interests

Art, music, fashion, dancing the night away. Meeting eccentric people, staying up late drinking and laughing. I love art, and am very involved in local arts community in Miami. Miami is an amazing place and the art coming out of this city is world class. I love living here and I love showing guest what an amazing city Miami is.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love house and indie music and i love to dance. But I'm open to all great music, especially if its live. I'm a decent salsa dancer (it helps that I'm Cuban), but i mostly prefer dancing to house.

What I Can Share with Hosts

i have a deep love and appreciation for art. I can show you many of the great local artist (many are friends of mine), and great local Miami art gallery. Miami is great because there is always something cool happening and lots to do. I also know the best music venues in town and getting in to places is never an issue for me.
