About Me

I'm Daniel from Madrid. I'm currently studying Advertising and Graphic Design.

What can I say about myself?

The only important thing: I'm ALWAYS SINGING, which basically means I'm happy 99,9% of the time. Take it or leave it!

Right now, I'm studying in Sweden. I always wanted to come here since I am amazed by these northern cultures. I had the chance to spend a whole winter here and see how they make it through. It was wonderful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing thanks to the great Amanda Palmer. Really, you should read her book "The Art of Asking", it was a revelation.

I love travelling and meeting people wherever I go, because I know, I'm sure there are a lot of things to do out there that are still undiscovered

I'd love to host people one day, but not by now, sorry :(

Interests

I love photography, I love poetry, I love music, I love cooking... Oh yeah, cooking is probably the truest of arts.

Actually, I basically love doing stupid things all the time, like writing bad comedy skits, coming up with useless catchphrases or trying to invent songs on the go...

Music, Movies, and Books

Björk, Radiohead, Lana del Rey, Coldplay, Blur, Amanda Palmer

MOVIES
My favourites: Amélie, The Truman Show, Dancer in the Dark, Dogville

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friend Kelly and I (I'm always talking about my friend Kelly, she's nuts) once bought a big bottle of beer and we didn't know what to do with it, so we bought a soda at McDonald's and filled the glasses with the beer and drank it through.
2 hours later we had composed the most amazing bunch of songs I've ever heard and I'll be proud to sing them to you.
