My name is Daniel. I live in the northern Denmark - soon in a city called Aarhus. I have just finished high school so now i'm taking a year off. My plan is to fill out this year with new experiences across the world. My plan right now is to begin studying in autumn 2016. So, I will try to see as much as I can before my head will be buried in school books again

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people. Couch surfing is a great opportunity for people like me, who don't have much money to explore the world. I also believe that you get a much bigger understanding for the cultures you visit by staying at a local's place instead of having a hotel room for instance. By that I don't mean it's a bad thing to stay at a hotel. Couch surfing is just another way to explore new places . I just think it's amazing that "strangers" are willing to open their home for other "strangers" from other places. I love to meet new people and see different ways of living, to get a more personal connection to a country and just have fun with people i meet on my way - couch surfing is a great way to do all this.
