About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to share experiences with people who like doing so. I want to hos these people in Brazil and here in the U.S too. With respect and good-willingness, we can understand each other better and live happier!

ABOUT ME

I am one happy guy. I love sharing experiences and sharing enthusiasm about life, specially outside with a beer to cheer us up.
As a Portuguese teacher here in the United States, I feel like I have to learn more about the people from the country and also talk about my country.
I am very enthusiastic about music, cinema and languages, but there's hardly anything I don't enjoy doing when travelling

PHILOSOPHY

Respect and real joy for living!
I also believe music is great to connect people and make long-lasting bonds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted people in my hometown and in Maringa, Brazil, even though they were not related to couch surfing. It was such a wonderful experience I feel like meeting more people through couchsurfing.

Interests

I am also a musician, so music is a very important part of my life. I play the guitar, the piano and the bass guitar. I almost always take my guitar to have fun with friends and share music!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very open. But I looooove music, all kinds, and I'll talk and live music the whole day if possible, specially some good old rock n roll!

I'm also very interested in cinema.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Coming to the United States as a Fulbright scholar this year.
-Playing "Samba" in Rio de Janeiro with some very experienced musicians.
-Going to Washington D.C to a Fulbright conference, meeting 400 people from 50 different countries and experiencing a little bit of the world in front of me!

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages and music. I am a language teacher here in Jackson, and I love sharing some thoughts about languages and the cultures they carry with them.
