About Me

A quote from Moby Dick reads "But I am one of those who never takes on about princely fortunes, and am quite content if the world is ready to board and lodge me..." and that's how I feel. I'm laid back, friendly, and always ready for a drink and a good story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few different reasons, one, I've met people who have recommended it whole-heartedly. Two, the people you meet travelling and the people who are interested in travelling are, in my opinion, some of the most interesting people, and this seems like a great way to meet more. Three, people's recommendations are a fantastic way to explore a new place, and staying with someone who lives there will surely be a great way to learn more about the location.

Interests

Travelling (obviously), going to music (rock) festivals, playing games , cycling, being outdoors, reading, watching films and drinking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunset at Mt. Everest was pretty special. My friend and myself spent eight days in Tibet, where we made our way to Everest base camp. It was hard going at that altitude (5, 200 metres up) but it was incredible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sharing stories over drinks sounds good, recommendations if I've been somewhere they want to go, etc. Sometimes I cook but I wouldn't recommend it.
