Overview
About Me
Hi I'm Daniel and I have just finished a Chemistry degree at King's College London. Living in London for the past 3 years has been a fantastic experience but now I am ready to take the next step and start travelling and working abroad.
This is the first time I will be travelling alone and I am very much looking forward to challenging myself and growing as a person in the process.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I consider myself a very open-minded individual and someone who is easy to get along with. Meeting new people is something that is very much core to who I am and I have met countless people whilst at university and through the hospitality jobs that I have had. I believe that Couchsurfing is an excellent way to connect with the locals of a city and to learn more about their culture and in return I can share my experiences and hopefully make a lasting impact on the people who I meet in each city. This is something that I look forward to.
Interests
I love going to the gym in my spare time and working on my fitness. I think exposing myself to the challenge of working out on a daily basis enhances other areas of my life simultaneously. I'd love to find a training partner!
I started doing martial arts back in 2010 and ever since have continued to do them. My favorite ones are Muay Thai and BJJ (no Gi). Martial arts is great for building fitness, discipline and friendships.
I like to read business, economics and psychology books in my spare time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very eclectic music taste but I'd say my predominant genres are Hip Hop, RNB, Rap and Deep House. I like artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, J Cole, Future, Kygo, Drake, Calvin Harris
My favorite films are Forrest Gump, School of Rock and Monsters Inc.
My favorite book is A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped to raise over £1m for a charity based in Toxteth, Liverpool. The charity is situated in one of the most deprived areas in the country and it helps young, ambitious students in the area gain experience in leadership and entrepreneurship.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd say I can share my passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle. I could show my hosts some simple and healthy recipes that I have been exploring using Joe Wicks: Lean in 15.
I can teach my hosts self defence in the form of martial arts
Overall I can bring a positive, fun and open minded ambience to my hosts
