About Me

I am a 23-year old Medical student, whose biggest passion is travelling, discovering different cultures and meeting people from all over the world. I like experiencing things I have never done before, and love to never stop learning about life, myself or new skills. I like to share my thoughts or feelings with other people. I like dancing, singing in the shower and going out with friends. I consider myself easygoing, chatty and trustful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Given my passion for travelling, I look to enriched my experiences by doing Couchsurfing. I believe this kind of experience can only expand our knowledge on the people and culture of the place I am visiting, and that makes the trip even more interesting and exciting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In terms of travelling, I have slept in the Jordanian desert (Wadi Rum). The following day we were invited to the house of a Bedouin's family we met in the desert, and we were able to eat with them and learn about their culture. I have also taken a ride in a hot air balloon in Cappadocia (Turkey) and been able to hike in those lands.

In other aspects of my life, I have been the supervisor of a group of 20 Spanish kids and teenagers in a camp in the UK. I have also taught kids English, Social Science and Natural Science in private lessons and been able to see their progress at school and in their self-estime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have travelled and lived many things already that I would love to share with hosts. It would be my pleasure to exchange topics that could be of interest for both of us so that we may learn from each other. There is nothing better than to learn from other people’s experiences and to share those things we are passionate about. I believe I have a lot to offer but I also still have a lot to learn! And I’d love to get a chance to do it through this experience.

Being more specific, I can teach Latin dances (mainly salsa and bachata), because I have been learning them for more than 4 years. I can also teach Spanish language, history and some interesting traditions that we have. And of course, I can teach how to prepare some of our most famous meals, such as the Spanish omelet!
