Currently I'm teaching English composition and creative writing for the University of Colorado Denver in Beijing, China. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where cars double as conventional ovens during the summertime. I attended ASU (Go Sun Devils!) and later attended San Francisco State (Go social progress!). Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Favorites are difficult...I recently read 'Strangers in Their Own Land' by Arlie Hochchild which I highly recommend if you're interested in political sociology. Currently, I'm working on 'Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind' by Yuval Harari and it's fantastic!
