About Me

I travel for work - three month assignments around the US. I was formerly an international flight attendant and have traveled all over the globe. I also was born and raised in DR Congo, Africa and moved to Oregon in '89. Now happily married with two wonderful kids, my home base is Spokane, WA.

Let's see. What else? I'm vegan but I do eat salmon sardines and fish but not all seafood ( no lobster, no octopus and no shrimp). I love sushi, Thai, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Cambodian, Ethiopian and Middle eastern food. I can't leave out Baklava especially from Turkey!

I have an undergraduate degree in pre-nursing and am taking online courses towards obtaining a BS in Healthcare Information Technology.

I love sci-fy and marvel as well as action and documentaries. I'm into all music and open to music from every culture.

My wife is Colombian and I'm learning Spanish.

I have surfed, scuba'ed, snowboarded and rollerbladed several destinations and rented cars in strange locations as well where driving is on opposite sides of the street or dangerous depending on obstacles.

I'm slightly religious and prefer attending church regularly but I prefer modern rock worship bands and down to earth teaching that keeps me engaged and awake. I believe that having a relationship with my God is more important than rules or regulations. In like context, I believe that how we treat others matters more to my God than tithes and religious duties. I believe in prayer that it has power and can effect changes that defy human logic and scientific reasoning. I don't try to convert anyone else to my beliefs but since my beliefs make me very happy and at peace, I am often trying hard not to come across as a religious nutcase because I don't want to invade other people's personal beliefs and truly respect their differences. I accept others unconditionally although I will admit that a lot of foul language can truly offend me as well as someone else trying to conform me to their beliefs.
