Overview
About Me
Hey,
I'm Daniel (most of my friends just call me Dan). I'm a 23 year old university student. I'm studying biology and will be pursuing further education in order to work corporate communications. So a bit about myself, I'm an incredibly outgoing and fun person to be around. I love exploring new places in my local neighbourhood and have a desire to travel the world to meet new friends. A few interesting things about me are; I'm a vegan and love cooking, I throw on my running shoes every day and try to stay fit, I once owned a hedgehog named Chester and one time I laughed so hard that I was crying a police officer thought I was having some sort of panic attack and offered assistance. I love to laugh and derive great pleasure from entertaining other people with my sense of humour. I would consider myself a super neat and tidy person that is respectful of other people's needs and concerns.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I absolutely love the idea of making new friends and exploring new areas. I'm an incredibly outgoing person and can't wait to explore the world and make some great contacts along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
-I have an incredibly strong vocabulary and would be happy to help hosts and guests learn English
-I would be more than happy to teach you about Canadian history and culture
- I can also (to a certain extent) teach you how to cook a few vegan recipes
Learn:
- I love learning about different cultures from local citizens
- I would love to learn about different foods, music and beverages from different countries
- I try very hard to learn languages of places I'm visiting (mainly in order to read the street and store signs)
Share:
- I can share my humor, wit and sense of adventure with guests and hosts.
- I can also share exclusively Canadian products with you (Kraft Dinner anybody?)
What I Can Share with Hosts
-I can fill you in on everything Canadian (celebrities, politics and culture)
- I love going out to dinner with friends and would be more than happy to treat my host to dinner(s) and drinks
-Let me know it you want a bottle of maple syrup (or any other Canadian staple) and I would be happy to bring that
-The best thing I can offer to host is respect, friendship and consideration to their needs :-)
