I grew up in northern Maine, graduated from college and then started a career in politics, moved to southern Maine, Philly and then at the beginning of the pandemic to Western Maine.

In 2020 I got out of politics and started an art project with my partner, Reed, and a friend, it quickly snowballed into us buying a snowshoe factory and now we are renovating it into an art and community center.

I love food, hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing, and am a wonderful guide of western Maine and Portland.

My Partner Reed and I are both great cooks and love to entertain.

I joined Couchsurfing in 2013 to go to Montreal, I had an incredible experience meeting my host and i was hooked.

In 2017 I hosted a number of folks in my apartment in Portland and loved showing folks around or just recommending cool spots to folks.

I now live in the mountains of Western Maine with my Partner Reed and our two fat. cats, We have two spare bedrooms and would love to invite diverse travelers here to see what rural western Maine has to offer.
