My name is Daniel Štancl and I was born in Ústí nad Orlicí, where I live now. I have one elder sister, who has been living in Northern Ireland since 2015. In same year I graduated from the Grammar school in my hometown and after I continued to Charles University, where I was studying General Mathematics for a year, but during this period I found out that I need other subjects than only pure maths. So I applied to other Bachelor's degree - Economics and Finance - at the same college and I am starting attending there in September 2016.

兴趣

When I was young (13 to 17), I was a cycle racer, I was really enjoying it, but because of problems with knee ligament I had to give up, but still I ride a bike approximately two to three times a week and now rather I am devoted to running. Simply a I love sports, I like hiking with my friend and family.

音乐、电影和书籍

Books: I like reading books about cycling, running, training etc., i have a few subscription to some sports magazines. I read sci-fi, news in mobileworld as well. But sometimes I borrow some kind of novel from a town library too.

Music: My favourite musical genres are rock (something like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Linkin Park,...). Also I listen to pop, soft metal and I love Hans Zimmer and good violin or piano covers.

Movies, etc: Since my childehood my very most favourite movie is Cool Runnings. Watching televison or movies is a kind of relax for me, so I prefer comedies. These things help me to improve my English.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I took partipicate in a night rogaining (=orienteering for team with 2 to 5 members with time limit) for 8 hours in Poland. I ran 55 kilometres, I had never done this long distance before, so I was very happy and a little bit supries, and we won, it was great.
