Why I’m on Couchsurfing
-I want to see new places, observe/experience different walks of life, and do some sight-seeing
-I want to connect with others and learn from them, and hopefully they have something to learn from me as well, though no promises ;P
-I need to travel cheaply because I will be jobless for a good portion of this 2-3 month expedition.
-I look forward to being a host when I am done with my trip so I can return the favor and continue to meet interesting people!

Music, Movies, and Books
-I like most genres of music, but I am mostly a fan of rock genres. I recently saw Reggie Watts and his band Karen which was amazing! I like music that grooves and has soul. One of the artists I've been listening to a lot of lately is Nahko and Medicine for the People.
-My latest favorite movie is Deadpool, but I am a fan of many different films. One of my all time favorites is "Waking Life" directed by Richard Linklatter. Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Fight Club are some of my all time favorites. I also had a roommate in college who got me into David Lynch.
-I don't read as much as I used to, but I enjoy books from the fantasy genre. I've read The Lord of the Rings series, The Harry Potter Series, and started Eragon, but never read the following books. I recently picked up "This is Your Brain on Music" by Daniel J. Levitin. It's been a very interesting read so far.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I set my standards pretty high for the word "amazing", but I think surfing in Ireland definitely ranks as one of the highest.
Teach, Learn, Share
Having studied music, I can teach certain things about music if there's any interest in learning.
I've taken keyboard lessons, guitar lessons, and vocal lessons, but I am most proficient at guitar.
I also dabble with bass guitar.
I would love to learn just about anything a host might have to offer. I keep myself open to all kinds of new experiences and want a trip that will provide me with stories, skills, and souvenirs that I collect along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
-I'm very cleanly
-I'm respectful and aware of other people's needs and will make sure that I attend to those needs
-As long as I'm given specific instructions I can help with work on any projects a host might be needing assistance with
-I'm friendly and I want the experiences we might share to be great ones
-Once I find my own place, they are more than welcome to couch surf with me.
