I’m just a normal guy who works a lot. I work as a teacher at several universities in Medellín, Colombia.

I speak Spanish (my native language), as well as French and English as second languages, so I can help others communicate if they want.

I live with my husband in Medellín, Colombia (where my workplace is), and I really enjoy hanging out with friends from other cities, as well as with my friends here.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I’m looking for places to stay for a few days in the cities I’ve planned to visit, not just for sleeping and taking a shower (that’s what a hostel is for), but also to share some time with people—drink a beer, hang out, or just talk and watch movies.

I don’t usually host people because I’m not at home much, but if I can’t host you, I can offer advice about my city or hang out with you.

I opened my account a few years ago, but I still don’t have much experience because on my previous trips I was with my work colleagues and family.

As a surfer, I can share my culture with you, cook if you want, hang out, and maybe even give you a little Colombian coffee as a gift!

Intereses

I love traveling around my country (I’ve visited several places, so if you plan to visit any of them, I can give you some tips about each city and help you contact local hosts).

If I could travel more often to other countries (I’ve visited New York, Miami, Santiago de Chile, and nearby cities), I would definitely do it.

I LOVE beer more than wine or any other alcoholic drink, and I love tasting the beers from the countries or cities I visit. So if you can suggest some, will be welcome
