Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Texas, but could live pretty much anywhere. Half Japanese and half Polish, I grew up with mixed cultures and love learning new ones. I work as a communication strategist for a medical school and hospital, fairly regular 8-5 schedule. I'm also going back to school part-time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Friend of mine is a regular and recommended it. I really want to do more traveling and would love to meet new people who come to my town. Seems like the perfect way to do both!
Interests
Music, craft beer, whisky, film, photography, board and PC games, cooking, food in general, tea, camping... and a whole lot more.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: a little bit of everything, currently listening to The Sonics.
Books: currently reading Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky
Movies: soft spots for film noir, sci-fi, Chaplin.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched orcas breach off the Washington coast.
Teach, Learn, Share
Growing up around here, I can point you towards the best Dallas and Fort Worth has to offer, plus pretty much whatever your specific interests are.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Space to sleep, great location to see most any part of Dallas, not far from downtown. I'm still unpacking but you're welcome to my kitchen and anything that is out and available. Like I said I work full time, but if I'm free I'm happy to give rides and show visitors the city.
