About Me

I grew up in Düsseldorf, Germany. At the moment, I'm finishing school here to continue studying bio-chemistry at the Düsseldorf university most likely. Of course I'm always open to people and like to travel. Furthermore, I'd consider myself a quite creative person. I'm a do-er. There's a number of projects I engage in (like launching a youth magazine, making short films, engaging at Greenpeace and Oxfam...).

I dream of making a living of something that does something good for others, be it creating films or articles or help people and the environment directly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Normally, when travelling, I like to take a friend or two who - like me - happily meet new people at new places. It's not always possible for them though to come with me, so I found couchsurfing would be the best way to avoid being stranded alone and making friends instead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably I've had the most thrilling experience in my life that one time when we were white water rafting during a huge flooding and stopped to climb a bridge from which we would jump off into the water then. That's probably when I fell in love with white water...

Teach, Learn, Share

As cheesy as it might sound, I mostly seek good company and maybe some creative inspiration. Of course I try and provide the same myself; share ideas, discuss opinions...

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I think about what I can share with my host, I think back to my time in New Zealand where I had some wonderful hosts. We exchanged random bits of our culture, cooked together. And I feel like those easy things are often the best to share.
