I've been living in Vietnam for the past 4 years, teaching English and spraying myself with mosquito spray every day :) I'm back in the US for a few months and I wanna try something new. New places, new people, new food, and new bugs :)

I love to swap stories and even more so, I love to listen.

I've known about this site forever, and I guess the universe is telling me now's the time to saddle up and ride this thang. I've always wanted to visit the South and I've always wanted to try this site. This feels like the perfect pairing. Like peanut butter and chocolate. Or peanut butter and apples. Or pretty much anything with peanut butter :)

BOOKS
The last eye-opener I read was Eckhart Tolle's "Power of Now". Seriously incredible.

MOVIES
I love sci-fi (Interstellar, Gattaca) comedy (LEGO movie, Dumb and Dumber) and yeaaaa, even some of the weepies like the Notebook :) Also, the Back to the Future series is just so classic.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last year there was this sweet event in Saigon called Color Me Run. Technically it's a 5k run, but I guess we should just call it Color Me Walk :) The walking though was for a good reason. Because you're out there throwing wads of colored powder at everyone! - red, blue, green, orange, yellow. There's just mounds of powder being shot up by cannons at all these color stations, and you're scrambling around, picking up powder, loading it into your convenient event-provided fanny pack. Then you're off launching handfuls of powder at whoever's deserving of a good coloring!

And after the whole 5k part was done...there was a huge rave! Sick beats and a crowd all loose and ready to connect with sets of bumpin music. So. much. friggin. fun :)
