I'm from Quito, Ecuador. My name is Daniel Villacis. I'm 19 years old and I recently moved to Besancon, France. This has been very difficult for me, because I'm in a different country, I don't know French, and it's a completely new culture for me. I will be living in France for the next 8 months and during that time I will be working as an Au Pair. After my work I will go back to Ecuador and then I want to study in Canada for my college education. I love life! I enjoy meeting new people and having an actual conversation. I am also willing to learn all kinds of stuff. I am always willing to go out of my way to make you feel like home!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I will be living in France for the next 8 months and I really want to do some traveling around Europe to meet new cultures and new people and to share with them a little bit of my culture. I love exploring and to see what will be next in my adventure!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I did. In my senior year of high school I was the class president so for our senior trip we together as a class decided to offer our trip to go help with the Earthquake Relief that destroyed parts of Manta, Ecuador. We went to help a church to rebuild a wall and to build a playground for the children that attend everyday for the kids club. This was so rewarding on so many levels and as a class we became a family.
