About Me

Small talk is not one of my strenghts, I prefer having deep and long conversations about culture, socioeconomic topics, society, history, the meaning of life, philosphy, things like that. I highly enjoy conversating about 'things that matter'.

Tell me what you do in your life, why you do it and what excites you about it. I love listening when someone is resolute and passionate about something, their profession, their studies, a certain idea or concept that makes his or her life abundant.

I am a composed, untroubled and sometimes rather quiet person who adores Northern landscape, the vegetation and lakes, the fresh air, the Pacific Northwest in the US or Northern Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I made this Couchsurfing page because of the fact that I am in Norway in August 2016 and I am looking for some hosts I can not only sleep at but who can show me around their city and also speak Norwegian with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like travelling but have not done super crazy things yet, I am more of a casual traveler that likes to see nice places and particitpate in the community where i travel.

One thing I enjoyed a lot was being at a beautiful lake in Oregon, near Crater Lake National Park. I forgot the name of the lake but it certainly was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. That is what I would personally consider an amazing experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I speak German fluently so if you learn German I could help you.

Others can certainly benefit from my thoughts and perspective on many different topics, ideas, philosphy, history, society.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, England, Finland, France, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Russian Federation, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States
