I am a Bruneian Chinese who is currently living in Australia. I love to volunteer, listening to music and watching fantasy and horror movies. If you like ghost stories, I have plenty to keep you hyped up. I enjoy playing many sports and able to speak various languages. Currently, craving an adventure to explore planet Earth.

I obtained my Open Waters Diving certificate in Bali where I have dived near a submarine and in a shipwreck. Shortly, after I got my Advanced Open Water course in 2020. The underwater view really took my breath away. Saw plenty of interesting animals, plants such as eels, seahorses and turtles.

I learned how to drive a manual motorbike and rode around Nusa Penida and the scenery was indescribable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that this platform will connect me to wonderful people around the World. Also, I would like to learn about different cultures around the world and learn from them. The main reason is for an ADVENTURE!

This CS community has provided me incredible experiences, connecting me to different friends on a personal level around the world, learning different skills and first-hand showing there are kind people. Also curious souls who wish to meet new interesting people.

Top highlights are:

1. Tried for the first time modelling for Russian photographer at Nusa Penida, Bali. It is one most beautiful island I have been and learn to pose for the camera. You can check out her instagram @sonya_russianphotographer

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered for SES (State Emergency Services) in Adelaide, Australia where I have to be on call to assist the community during unfortunate events such as flooding, car accident and finding missing people. This volunteering experience has developed me physically and mentally, connecting me to the community.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a sport enthusiast and enjoy many sports. My main sport is badminton - I have coached and played state level in Adelaide, Australia. I also know how to restring badminton rackets and grip.

I love to learn to speak different languages. Currently, I am able to speak fluently Mandarin, Hakka, Cantonese, Malay, English. I am learning Korean and Japanese as one day I wish to travel there.

I know a few magic tricks up my sleeves and origami too!
