About Me

I grew up on a small family farm in rural Iowa. I did not travel much growing up, but after starting college, I have started to travel some and love it. I am the youngest of five children so I am used to sharing a room and being very flexible with what I am given. I just graduated and will be working in Madison, WI, but I am traveling around before work starts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my most liked recently read books: Hitch Hikers Guide to The Galaxy, The Little Prince, and A Song of Fire and Ice Series (Game of Thrones).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Managed a detasseling crew with over 120 employees.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my life experiences especially of living on a farm and detasseling (a little known job in the Midwest which I happen to manage a crew for). I would be happy to teach anything that I can. Of my skills, I am probably most qualified to teach programming, but that probably wouldn't work well for short visits.. Also, juggling if you anyone is interest :).

I am eager to learn as much as I can. I have recently realized how little of the world I know and want to fix that by learning as much as I can about other people and cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life experiences and opinions. I love to learn about other peoples' lives and their perspectives. I would be happy to answer any questions about my life and would hope to learn a lot about my hosts.
