My name is Daniel Zappone. I am a 34 year old with a serious passion for music. I have a well trained puppy dog named Bukka, and we go everywhere together.

I have been working and living out of my van for the last 6 years and have decided to move on from my vanlife in order to build a house. I am doing it myself off-grid in Arizona, and it is going really well! I am only 12 miles from the border of Mexico, so I am trying to learn spanish (Soy malo hablando español ahora) :)

I love acoustic pre-war blues, country and instrumental surf rock music. I just finished a book called "Empire of the Summer Moon" about the plains indians in the US, and was one of the best reads I've had in a long long time.

I have been a guitar and drum teacher for over a decade. Being a musician, I am always learning and chasing new inspiration...it's the only way to get better and find your own voice. I am always happy to teach what I've picked up along the way. Nothing better than inspiring and being inspired. I have spent a lot of time listening to and researching prewar and country blues too. If you like old-time music, we could talk for a month!

I love to talk music, art and ideas. I have a wonderful dog who is my right hand man and he'll definitely make you smile! I would love to play or teach guitar/drums to anyone who is interested. It is one of my favorite pastimes. I'm a pretty decent cook too. ;). I know how to repair pianos and setup guitars, so if you need some advice or a small repair, I would be happy to help you out.
