Hi! I'm 24 years young and love to drop everything and travel for weeks on end. I grew up near Chicago, USA but my dream is to see the world. In college I studied abroad in Argentina, then after graduation I interned in Costa Rica for a summer before solo-backpacking Europe for three months. Just last year I spent 6 weeks backpacking Mexico, Guatemala, and returning to Argentina for Patagonia. And I'm just getting started:) My passions include cooking, hiking, coffee, history and art. I'm equally happy on the trails or at a museum or a craft winery/brewery! Yoga has become very important to me and I do my best to practice everyday. Overall, I just like to have fun and experience cultures firsthand.

¡Hola! Tengo 24 años y creo que viajar es la mejor manera de aprender sobre otras culturas. Crecí cerca de Chicago, EEUU, pero mi sueño es viajar e experimentar todo lo que pueda ofrecer nuestro mundo. En la facultad estudié un semestre en Buenos Aires, Argentina donde aprendí la mayoría de mi español (sí, ya hablo con acento argentino ajaj). Después de recibirme, pasé una pasantía en Costa Rica por un verano antes de haver backpacking en Europa por tres meses. El año pasado hice backpacking por 6 semanas en México, Guatemala, y Argentina de nuevo por Patagonia. Y ya no paro! Me fascina la historia y el arte, y mis pasiones incluyen cocinar, hacer hiking, el café, la birra y el vino. Esto igualmente contento en la caminata que sentado en una cervecería o vinería. La yoga también es un parte de mi vida importantísimo, e intento de practicarlo cada día. Sobre todo, simplemente me gusta divertirme e experimentar las culturas mundiales cara a cara.

I love to travel solo, and while hostels are amazing, I value personal connections with locals. I think it´s the best way to learn about the place I travel.

Amo viajar solo, y aunque sí los hosteles son divertidas, valoro más las conecciones personales con locales. Pienso que es la mejor manera de aprender sobre el lugar al que viajo.

Book: "War Against All Puerto Ricans" by Nelson Denis; "Independent People" by Haldor Laxness; and "Parable of the Sower" by Octavia Butler are my all-time faves.
I absolutely love to read, currently I'm on a Korean novel kick in preparation for my trip there.

While in Mendoza, Argentina, I went on a hike in the Andes Mountains that ended at a water park made from naturally-occurring hot springs!
