About Me

สวัสดีครับ

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me this community became an essential part while travelling. It's not only an alternative way of being accomodated, there is so much to get to know and to experience in life. The connections you can make via couchsurfing are extraordinary and full of energy. Let's make this life as amazing as it can be! :)

Til now I met very kind and interesting people on my journey, and I owe them so much for being my hosts, travel companions and my inspiration. The key is to trust in people, and to show them your trust in return. I'm sure there are plenty more of awesome people who will cross my way some day!

Interests

There is a lot of stuff one can like and dislike. Knowing where is your base and which strings hold your soul together is as important as to know how to tie your shoes. I think, the more you are open to new sources of experience, the more you will become a happier person. That being said, I like a lot of things, especially the goodwill and positive energy of others. And music! And arts! Being creative means everything to me, and I admire those who follow this philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music keeps everything connected, right? Our heartbeat is a rhythm, colours and sounds are frequenzies as well. There is music in the trees, in the sky and everywhere you can imagine you could ever be. I pretty much love any kind of music, except the music which is made to make millions out of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiking on a motorway in Auckland, New Zealand. We've been picked up just a second before the cops showed up. But they drove off as we got away *sigh* ;)

Fusion Festival in Germany. One sick weekend. Oh my god.

While canoeing in Thailand I found a soil-made armsized man in the water, which was then labelled a Voodoo doll by one of our tourguides. He was a little upset that I found it. "I don't believe in it, but I don't mess with it either". So he told me to throw it back in the river. I did, and approximately one hour later, after not watching out for trees hanging in the water while going down the river backwards, a tree hit me, my canoe flipped and I fell into the water.

Hiking along unrestored parts of the Great Wall in China. It was amazing, we had a stunning view and a challenging trail along the ruins of the wall. I highly recommend this trip to everyone!

Teach, Learn, Share

You don't need to be a teacher to be a teacher, but you always need to be a student and give yourself the chance to learn something new. You can learn from everyone, at any time, any place. Besides I'm always happy to teach some guitar skills or make some music with you! And I can teach German language of course. It's not even that kompliziert lol.
