About Me

I'm easy going but have heaps of energy to explore both places and ideas. I think a lot and love to bounce ideas off people. I am curious about the world, and people are a great way to discover new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I like to immerse myself in the local scene. It can be hard as a tourist so ideally I like to live in a place. Couch surfing lets you hang out and live with a local which is a beautiful snapshot into the deeper side of a place.

Interests

I love enjoying nature and I also like a bit of adventure too, be it in the wilderness or the urban jungle. I also love to meet people so traveling is the best of both worlds. I like to keep active and can't stand gyms so I try to hike, surf, dive or do anything that is fun and keeps me fit. I also like to make music and take photos. Oh and I'm interested in permaculture so I like to grow things! Can't leave out food! I love so many things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took part in building an Earthship in Tasmania. An Earthship is a building made from old tyres, soil and recycle materials which is designed to be sustainable through principles such as thermal mass, water catchment and natural light. We didn't finish it but after 3 weeks we had put the roof on and had made so many special friends. The community we formed while building the Earthship, cooking and cleaning together, sharing stories, camping and swapping ideas was even more amazing than the building.

Teach, Learn, Share

That's what life is about isn't it?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a curious and enthusiastic person so hopefully I'll introduce you to some cool ideas and bring some uplifting energy to your home. I always have some type of project on the go and love to get ideas for new projects. I'm clean and courteous and can even cook a few things.
