About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and take it all in!...got 215 days before home calls...and then another adventure...the real world and a job! Still hope CSers will keep me in touch with the travelling world then!
ABOUT ME
Well I'm 22 English guy who is out exploring the world for 215 days with my girlfriend Jo. I was born and grew up in a little town in the north of England called Alnwick! It's a quiet market town with a rather grand castle sitting pride of place. I enjoy so many things!
I love meeting lots of different people and thats one of the main reasons I'm so excited to get involved with the CS project! I'm really laid back, accepting and eager to chat to anyone, anywhere and hope our paths cross somewhere soon!
The drinks are on me
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is a great belief in people and that being a nice person is by and far the greatest thing to do with one's life.
...and have a bloddy good time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just new to it all but hope to love this place as much as the guys who told me about it love it, very soon!
Want to see the world and show people the part of the world that I call home!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a guy (Michel) in Saigon over breakfast and he invited me to a CS gathering that night- in Cage Club and had an awesome night!
Interests
Well said most of it above as interests ar such a part of me and how I live my life but these are the big ones: football (watching and playing), badminton, hitting the gym, travel, music (especially live!), reading, talking (I love good chat!), hiking (Northumberland, Lake District and the West Coast of Scotland are my main haunts), badminton, people, running (ran a marathon this year!), climbing, loving like I've never been hurt, working like I don't need the money and dancing like no-ones watching.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Big fan of live music and try to see as much as possible- time and wallet will allow! Always going to gigs and had the pleasure of going to Glastonbury twice! Music taste all over the place from AC/DC, Antony and the Johnsons, Bruc Springsteen, Oasis, Paul Weller, RnB, Stevie Wonder... I could on forever!
Books:I love to read and trying to break the back of all the English lit heavy-weights while travelling- just read 'One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest'. Quality!
Also been reading a bit, as I travel about the different faiths of the world and histories, hope to learn and understand where everyone I meet is coming from. Just read "The Killing Fields" about Cambodia 75-79. Heavy stuff, but like getting stuff like that on board.
