Overview
About Me
Easygoing Colombian traveler based in Armenia (Quindío). I love meeting locals, learning how people live, and sharing good conversations (or giving you your space if you prefer). I’m curious, respectful, and pretty low-maintenance.
At home I work in tech/engineering/data (smart/automation projects), and I travel whenever I can. I’m fluent in Spanish and English, and currently learning French.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use Couchsurfing to connect with locals and experience places in a more human way. I also host when I’m home (or when I can), because I love returning the good energy.
Interests
Climbing, hiking, cities & local food, history, museums (selectively), live music, walking tours, photography, and basically anything that helps me understand a place beyond the tourist side.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a long trip (almost 2 years) that completely changed my life. During that time I tried a mix of adventures and cultural experiences: skydiving, bungee jumping, a desert safari, and reaching the top of a 5400m snowy mountain. I also did a lot climbing (indoor + outdoor) and ended up meeting amazing people through the climbing community in different countries.
I’ve had some unforgettable moments too — like kayaking in open water, traveling through Vietnam (Cat Ba islands was a highlight), and taking the Trans-Siberian train in Russia. The best part wasn’t just the activities, but the people I met along the way and the stories we shared.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share Spanish practice, travel tips, and I’m always happy to cook a simple Colombian meal or bring something small as a thank-you. If you climb, I’m also down for a session (indoor/outdoor) depending on the city.
