ABOUT ME

All about me, that's a tough one...

I am a very easygoing person, I love to hang out with my friends, listen to music, go to to the movies, party, pretty much anything, as long as we are being silly and having lots of fun xD

Traveling is one of my passions, that's why I'm here basically... I love learning about new cultures, meeting new people, making new friends: all around the world!!

I also love reading, mostly novels: reading a good novel is the cheap way of traveling ;)

Learning foreign languages is also another thing I love. I love how one can express completely different things and feelings depending on the language.

Finally, my other passion is engineering. I know, its weird, but hey, there's not much I can do about it! I love mechatronics (Here is where people ask "what the f*** is that?") Its anything that has to do with robots, automation, optimization, and so on... It's pretty cool! Believe me, I'm an engineer ;D

In spite of my crazy adventurous side, I am also very fond to my family and my country. I love Mexico, I wouldn't change for anything. And I love my family, they are my pillar, without them I couldn't have done any of the amazing things I've had the opportunity to do so far.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't thing I have a personal philosophy per se. But there a couple of quotes that I like a lot, that reflect the way I think about life. Here they are:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been part of the Couchsurfing experience for a while now.

I first joined the network while I was living in Germany a couple of years ago, but never really had the chance to meet anybody... after that I stayed a couple of weeks in NYC with some amazing hosts, it was really an unforgettable experience!! Following my trip to NYC I was living in Sao Paulo, Brazil for a couple of months and I had the opportunity to host some travelers while I was there.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people, showing them my beautiful city, and if I have the chance, also share my house with them, why not? :)

Interessen

I mentioned a lot of it in my description, but here it is again:

Reading, music, hanging out with friends, traveling, languages, engineering,making puzzles xD, beer, wine, tequila :p, food (all kinds of it, I'm always up for something new).

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Hmm... this list could be pretty long xD I'm just gonna include a couple of my favorites :D

Movies: scarface, the godfather, star wars, the shinning, the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, pulp fiction, kil bill, amores perros, y tu mama tambien.

Music: queen, u2, guns n roses, the rolling stones, the beatles, bee gees, madonna, michael jackson, nirvana, the killers, coldplay, the eagles, elo, hombres g, enanitos verdes, caifanes, mana, zoe, soda stereo.

Books (or more exactly authors): Ken Follett, Maurice Druon, Mario Vargas Llosa, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jose Saramago, Julia Navarro, Stieg Larson, Stephanie Meyer, J K Rowling.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

There are a lot of thing that I consider amazing and that I've had the opportunity to experience.

The ones that come to mind right now: U2 360 concert, Teotihuacan Pyramids, Ana Frank's House, La Fete de la Musique, Frühlingsfest.

A couple of years ago I had the chance to be a part of the FIFA World Cup 2014 while working in a Hostel in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Shortyl after that I got a job on board of a cruise ship, which was very cool and one of the most valuable experiences of my life!!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am open to learning all kinds of new stuff, and if you feel like I could teach you something I am also open to that.

As I mentioned above foreign languages are one of my passions, so sharing thing about other languages and cultures over a cup of coffe or a beer would be ideal!!
