About Me

I'm in the process of trying to become a digital nomad so that I can travel around programming and climbing.

I used to be all about cities and getting drunk in bars... which, hey, is still fun, but I've kind of grown out of that for the most part. I like spending most of my time outdoors, either hiking in the mountains, chilling on the beach, or finding some sport climbing.

By the way, if you've read my profile and send me a couch request, include this phrase in your message, "I'd probably be a vegan wolf", so I know you read my profile instead of just copying and pasting messages

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to surf at locals' places so I can see their city from a local perspective as opposed to the typical experience of meeting people in a hostel and getting drunk at tourist traps.

I hosted a couple times as well which was pretty fun since I get to see my city from another perspective.

I also believe that couchsurfing is a way to meet locals who you would get along with quite well and have similar interests. That being said, if you send me a copy and pasted request or an impersonal request then I wont host you.

Interests

I enjoy immersing myself in different cultures to find interesting differences. I like exploring nature, and enjoy rock climbing(mostly bouldering and sport climbing). I also like to ride my road bike but currently that hobby is losing out to the climbing.

I do spend a good portion of my time on the internet reading about current events and wasting time on reddit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into classic rock like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc... I also like newer indie music like starfucker, vampire weekend... oh god this is going to take too long. I like alternative rock, underground rap, and classic rock

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dived in Sipadan. Rock climbed... a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a programmer so I can help you code if that's your thing. I've also gotten pretty into rock climbing over the last year so if you're interested we can hit up a crag.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to climb which is super fun, even if you're scared of heights like I am. I almost bake some pretty kick ass chocolate chip cookies and I'm in the process of learning how to make some good pasta sauces. I'll definitely cook for you if you let me crash!
