Tips for visiting LA: It's really hard to get around without a car, however, when visiting, you'll probably be fine with buses and rail line, even though they are not the quickest way to get around. Be aware that different parts of LA are very different, and know what areas you are going before you go. Ask around and do research online. And if you are travelling without a computer/smartphone, there are a lot of public libraries in LA, and you can always stop in and use one!
