ABOUT ME

I'm a born and bred New Zealand lad whose white on the inside despite Asian on the outside.
Although I am organised and tidy I'm a social and overall easy going guy. I love to have a good time in the way of meeting people and having a chat. I am a pharmacist by trade and have over the past years developed a deep passion for travelling.
Will be going for through SouthEast Asia and Europe for some extended travelling and overseas experience at the end of April 2012!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just heard about it really while I was working and thought it would be a unique and cool experience to have. I thought it would a great way to see how different people actually live from myself which you often don't quite learn when your just a plain tourist.

None yet but hope to experience some on my travels - Cannot wait!

Interests

Recently got got into reading novels.
Like to do exercise including bike riding, running, tennis and soccer.
I am learning to play the guitar - Still not great guitarist but enjoy it immensely.
I love to travel, meet new people and learn about different cultures & history.
Like the great outdoors including tramping & snowboarding.
Also like to party every now and then of course!

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly a old-school rock fan - ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses etc. However, I am becoming a bit more influenced by some of the poppy stuff now.

Too many to list overall with books and movies.... Books: Fall of Giants by Ken Follett, Stieg Larsson series, Lord of the Rings, Bryce Courtenay - Power of One, White Thorn.
Movies: Inception, Avatar, Xmen, Rainman, Lincoln Lawyer...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(1) Diving & snorkelling in Koh Tao for the first time! Such warm water and teeming sea life which was wonderful to see!

(2) The amazing view of the Hong Kong skyline at night while on the Star Ferry in Victoria harbour.
