Overview
About Me
Hello! Daniel here, I am a Malaysian Chinese, born and raised in the island of Penang.
Currently living in Kuala Lumpur working full-time with a local soup kitchen feeding the marginalized.
I'm friendly, down-to-earth and an overall easy-going person who loves people, loves food and appreciates all things art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy the fact that the world, though it may be big, it can also be small. And Couchsurfing allows me to do just that, making the world a whole lot smaller.
Looking forward to meet like-minded folks who would share the same sense of adventure and the hunger to experience new cultures.
Interests

Favorite Movie - I'd watch anything but chick flicks and horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing super out of the ordinary but one of the amazing things that comes from travelling is meeting strangers along the way who become really good friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning as much as I could from as many people as I can. Especially, foreign languages/dialects. If you're from a different part of the world, I wouldn't mind learning new languages.
Also, being able to impart some knowledge on how we Malaysians speak/abuse the English language can be quite a thrill.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I may not have been an official couchsurfing host, but I do know what it's like to open one's sanctuary to strangers and hosting others.
It is safe to say that I am good with the household chores. I do the dishes, I know how to clean up, and I don't complain.
If any of my hosts wants a crash course on playing the acoustic or bass guitar, I'd gladly teach to the best of my ability. :)
I'd be happy to share more about my country and give you an insight on how's life like growing up here as a Malaysian.
