I think I am in that good stage of life were I have stopped stressing so much, and have figured out where I am going and what I want to do. I have a long standing passion for travelling, something I don't ever want to stop doing.

ABOUT ME

I am a biomedical engineering postgraduate, finishing off my studies in Cape Town. I am interested in most things I come across and love people who are passionate about what they do. A great conversation over a beer is half the fun of travelling. I do a lot of sport; from soccer to snowboarding, and I am most at home in the outdoors climbing, or hiking or camping.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted in past, but recently haven't been very active either surfing or hosting!
I have surfed a bit in europe and southern africa, and hosted people in my home city of Johannesburg.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its been great so far. I think there are people out there who abuse system and damage the community, but for the most part its a great idea that people all over clearly resonate with!

Lord of the Rings will always be my number 1. But I used to read a lot of fantasy; Ursula Le Guin, Tolkien, Garth Nix, etc. But lately I have been reading a broader range.

Numerous backpacking trips through southern africa.
Hiking the drakensburg.
Living on a ski resort in colorado.
