ABOUT ME

I'm a Y. Previously, I was a PhD student in Control Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and in the University of Poitiers. I'm obsessive in sports for example in kettlebell, running, hiking and climbing. I like to meet other people and to talk with them until dawn. I like to come to know other cultures and habits. I love the adventures across the countries
and going to concerts. I love to discover. I love the history, especially the WWII, history of aviation, Apollo program, and the middle age...

PHILOSOPHY

I would like to meet as many people as I can, and to change our experiences making new friendships. Visit as many wonderful places on planet Earth as I can. I believe that we can make this world to a better place even with one smile only.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've heard about the couchsurfing in Poitiers in 2011 where I met a lot of people who had already traveled with this project. I like the idea from the first time, because it is human centered and one can connect with many people and can get a lot of new friends.

Actually, I like the most genres of films. It depends on my mood. Some films on my list of favorite films are: Forrest Gump, Adam's apples, Castaway, Butterfly Effect, Mr. Nobody, Star Wars, BTTF...
I love all instrumental Soundtracks; for example soundtracks of Transformers, Galdiator, Rock...Furthermore, almost everything composed by Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Alan Silvestri and Micheal Kamen.
My favorite bands are Iron Maiden, In flames, Paddy and the Rats, Mago de Oz, Edguy, Avantasia, Intim torna illegál, Magashegyi Underground, Eluveitie.
I don't know why, but I like Pink and Avril Lavigne...I know that they are girlish but I don't care :)
My favorite writers are Issac Asimov, Jules Verne but I also like many other books and writers.
Currently, my favorite book is the Cultural history of physics from Charles Simonyi.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The one:
The blue sky in Orkhon valley, Mongolia.

Several others:
Matra 115 which is a distance hiking competiton in Hungary. It has 126km and 6374m of positive altitude change.
Trekking in the mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Birth of rivers.
A 41 day trip trekking through my home country, Hungary.
I slept in airports, in train stations, in ATM houses :)
